Juan de Lascurain is an entrepeneur /speaker / artist / designer from Mexico City. In 2004 while coaching tennis, a gentleman approached him and offered him free air time on a local non-profit tv network. Without prior experience he started interviewing his friends and eventually started interviewing many celebrities and covering some of the biggest events around the world. In 2008 while sitting at a table, he grabbed a napkin and a black marker and drew his first design. A few days later a lady saw it and told him he needed to paint. Everyone told him he was crazy, that artists didn´t make money, but he didn´t care and went ahead with his dream. It was not easy and it was many years of hard work, he even had to give up most of his material things including his apartment. But today the dream big art and design platform includes a collection of over 8,000 designs and over 25 licensed products in different countries. Juan spends his time traveling around the world speaking in schools and to companies, licensing the brand and interviewing for the Dream Big brand.
